Historical centre of Montemerano
Montemerano is a gorgeous medieval village, dating back to the 13th century, built by the Aldobrandeschi family. Today, it represents, in my opinion, an obligatory destination for those who want to discover the Tuscan villages. Walking around Montemerano, was pure visual pleasure, among shops and houses of ancient workmanship, the community has been able to maintain the identity of the village over the centuries, without disfiguring the streets and houses.
