Matrix Church of Santa Croce
The Matrix Church of Santa Croce, built on another of the XII-XIII centuries, has a wall structure with smooth and regular cones. The bell tower is worn to the church, built in regular stone cones and divided into two floors by ornate frames. The first floor is characterized by two windows with arches that rest on the capitals, enclosed in an upper arch laid on shelves. On the second floor there is a loggia with perforated chessboard parapet. Internally, the church consists of three large naves with chapels, where, among the many works of remarkable interest, stand out a baptismal source of 1200 and the statue of San Rocco, protector of the city of Casamasima.
