The battle of Thermopylae is often remembered only for the spartans involved in the battle. Indeed there was more than 7000 greeks soldiers deployed against the persians. 700 of them were thespians. These thespians refused to withdraw and last standed with spartans and 400 thebans in the last day of battle.
