Taurokathapsia (bull-fighting) fresco in the Knosso Palace

In the cycles of frescoes in the Knosso Palace predominated the depicting of Taurokathapsia. Taurokathapsia consisted in a non-violent bull fighting, a ritual sport played during the veneration of the bull.
